Who is Seinking Ships?
It is a collaboration between Eric Matthews and Christopher Seink.
Eric Matthews was a member of the much revered Cardinal, and a recording artist for Sub Pop Records – responsible for the groundbreaking orchestral pop record “It’s Heavy in Here”
Christopher Seink is a veteran of the Cleveland/ Akron music scene, playing acts such Rivethead, Liquid Gardens, & Quasispace.
Multiple songs feature guest vocals by Miki Berenyi from LUSH. Miki’s vocals are her first musical output since Lush and a sporadic series of late 1990’s guest appearances with THE RENTALS & Patrick Fitzgerald. “Museum Quality Capture” is a mostly instrumental project spurred on by the pair’s mutual love of film soundtrack and new wave bands to create a brave new kind of instrumental music – a new wave cinema score
