Los Angeles, CA (October 4, 2024) – Today, Emmy Award winner and acclaimed multi-platinum singer/songwriter Andy Grammer releases his new ALBUM, MONSTER via S-Curve Records. The release comes on the heels of his performance of “I Do,” featuring Maddie & Tae, on Live With Kelly and Mark.
Out today, Monster sees Grammer elevating the high-energy songwriting that has won him millions of fans around the globe and leaning into acoustic melodies inspired by a novel foray into the mandolin. Across 11 poignant tracks, the project explores themes of family, relationships, happiness and letting go. At its core, Monster is Grammer’s most personal and sonically versatile album to date. Rife with vulnerable lyricism—yet still brimming with his distinctive optimism—the project is layered in dichotomy. It spans from catchy, uplifting anthems like “Still Smiling” and “Monster,” which simultaneously reflect on overcoming darkness and the complicated nature of relationships, to bright, soaring moments in “Magic” and “Friends and Family,” which, in contrast, showcase the beauty and hopefulness in connection. Monster is a testament to Grammer’s prowess as a songwriter and artist, as he explores the human condition in all its complex beauty.
Recently, Grammer partnered with Crayola for the “Campaign for Creativity” project, which amplifies the importance of childhood creativity in helping kids reach their full potential. On behalf of Grammer, Crayola donated a palette of products to PS 22 in Staten Island, which is renowned for their live children’s chorus performances with artists like Carrie Underwood, Charlie Puth and AJR, in addition to Grammer. Grammer has also partnered with the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Having lost his mother to breast cancer 15 years ago, Grammer continuously strives to bring greater attention to a cause near to his heart in his role as ambassador. Coming up, in celebration of the release of Monster, Grammer is set to perform at this coming Sunday’s Los Angeles Rams game versus the Green Bay Packers at SoFi Stadium.
Grammer recently wrapped the first leg of his nationwide ‘Greater Than: A One Man Show’ tour and will embark on the second leg in Portland, OR beginning on October 8. Each night features songs, poetry, and storytelling, with Grammer performing both new music and hits throughout a special solo acoustic set. The coast-to-coast tour kicked off in September and continues to receive significant praise from fans and critics alike, thanks to Grammer’s remarkable artistry and vulnerability, which transcends the usual boundaries of entertainer and audience. On October 30, Grammer will bring his special one man show to the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. Additional tour dates will be announced soon!
