August 14, 2026: Today, multi-platinum, Emmy Award-winning artist, podcaster and acclaimed songwriter Andy Grammer releases his uplifting and emotionally honest new single, “All I Want Is You.” The track is the latest offering from Grammer’s forthcoming sixth studio album, Big Stupid Heart, out October 16 via S-Curve Records/Hollywood Records.

A heartfelt declaration of love, “All I Want Is You” finds Grammer taking stock of the ambitions and distractions that can pull us away from what matters most. After chasing money, success and the promise of a dream that ultimately left him unfulfilled, he arrives at a simple realization: everything he has been looking for has been right in front of him all along.

“Take all the paper and light it on fire / I don’t need the money, it won’t get me higher,” Grammer sings before the song opens into its irresistible refrain: “All I want is you.”

On the new song Grammer said: “I wish I was better at remembering this, but I can get pretty caught up in chasing the next thing – the next goal, the next accomplishment, whatever I’ve decided is going to make me feel like I’ve finally arrived. ‘All I Want Is You’ is a reminder to myself in song form that my wife and daughters are my north star.”  

At its heart, “All I Want Is You” poses the question that anchors the song: What if we have been wasting precious time chasing something that cannot compare to the love already in front of us? Romantic, sincere and unabashedly open-hearted, the track captures the central spirit of Big Stupid Heart and Grammer’s belief that choosing love is never something to be embarrassed by.

In a first look of the song with American Songwriter, Grammer noted the song and this new album have cello pop elements that he’s always wanted to explore:  “I’ve been chasing the cello for my whole career. I’ve never actually captured it in a way that felt correct. This time, I was feeling very inspired with it. I just chased it on a bunch of songs on this record.” 

The song follows the release of “Best Hearts” and album title track “Big Stupid Heart,” which introduced the deeply personal and emotionally expansive world of Grammer’s forthcoming album. Across its 13 tracks, Big Stupid Heart pairs sweeping pop arrangements, choral vocals and cello with intimate songwriting about grief, resilience, connection and the decision to remain open-hearted in a world that often rewards cynicism.

The album’s lead single, “Best Hearts,” was inspired by a listener voicemail submitted through Grammer’s podcast, Showing Up With Andy Grammer. A mother shared the story of her son, who found the strength to comfort another patient while receiving treatment for his own mental health struggles, and asked Grammer to write about people carrying tremendous pain who still find a way to show up for others.

The resulting song became a stirring tribute to those who have been shattered by life and still choose strength, compassion and openness. It also reflects Grammer’s own experience of losing his mother when he was 25 and the years it took him to find hope again.

“I wanted to make a record that feels like permission to care deeply again,” Grammer previously shared. “Big Stupid Heart celebrates the kind of people who refuse to let heartbreak make them cynical. Honestly, this is a daily battle for me. It’s my anti-cynicism battle cry.”

Following Grammer’s 2024 album Monster, which made space for anger, grief and emotional honesty in a bold new way, Big Stupid Heart represents an evolution rather than a return to form. The album finds Grammer choosing sweetness, sincerity and love not out of naïveté, but as an act of resilience.

Grammer is currently bringing Big Stupid Heart directly to audiences across the country on his summer headline tour, with a performance tonight at Harrah’s Council Bluffs’ Stir Cove in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The tour continues through August 30 before Grammer returns to the intimate, story-driven format of Greater Than Pt. II: A One Man Show beginning November 3.

(Los Angeles – April 28) – The Friends & Family Sessions, the new stripped-down EP from multi-platinum singer-songwriter Andy Grammer, is out today via S-Curve. The Emmy Award-winning artist celebrates the project’s launch with a homespun performance video for “Not the End  (Lisa’s Song) (Stripped),” which finds his all-acoustic band playing outdoors against a starry, serene backdrop. In a statement, Grammer details the poignant inspiration of the original track, “Not the End (Lisa’s Song),” which appears on his 2024 studio album, Monster.  

“‘Not the End (Lisa’s Song)’ was written in about 30 minutes, right after I received a call from a dear friend whose sister was going through a deeply painful moment and had lost sight of her own worth,” Grammer says. “I wanted to send her something right away—something that could bring even a flicker of peace, remind her she was not alone, and let her know: we see her, we love her, and we’ve got her back.” 

The Friends & Family Sessions reimagines six songs from Monster, a smash hit that recently crossed 840M streams and 375K album-equivalent units to date. It also reworks three major hits from his back catalog: “Honey, I’m Good,” viral sensation “Fresh Eyes,” and “Don’t Give Up On Me.” Grammer recently released the “Stripped” version of the latter, paired with a special TikTok clip that captures the song’s essence.

Grammer appeared Saturday (April 26) as a special guest during Trombone Shorty’s Treme Threauxdown, part of the 2025 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. He joined the trombonist to perform their collaborative track “Joy,” which appeared on the deluxe edition of Monster.  

Meanwhile, the acclaimed singer is set to join another major star on tour: In July, he’ll open a handful of shows for country-pop legend Shania Twain. Those dates expand an already-loaded live schedule for 2025, including a London show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire (May 18) and the summer leg of his MONSTER Tour (now on sale, launching July 31).  

Grammer recently announced he’ll join Sheryl Crow and Lauren Daigle on May 14 in Los Angeles for the JUST HELP 1 Concert. The event, presented by the Union Rescue Mission, aims to highlight the city’s homelessness crisis through the power of live music: “Southern California is home to 17 million people. What if everyone just helped one person desperate for a second chance?”

The acclaimed Monster, Grammer’s fifth full-length, has become a massive success, selling over 360K album units and earning 800 million streams. Grammer recently partnered with Crayola for the “Campaign for Creativity” project, which amplifies the importance of childhood creativity in helping kids reach their full potential.
